Good Morning!
So - I think the babycenter.com is getting a little gourmet on me. Spaghetti squash? I feel like the challenger on Iron Chef America getting the secret ingredient. In any case - things are going great here in Portland. We ordered the furniture for the babies room and I think over the 4th of July holiday we will be painting. Baby girl is already taking Jeff and wrapping him around her little finger - per Jeff's request, our little girl will be having a pink bedroom. At least until she comes home one day and announces she "hates the color pink" (which is exactly what I did).
Till next time!
How your baby's growing:
At 11 inches (the length of a spaghetti squash) and almost 1 pound, your baby is starting to look like a miniature newborn. Her lips, eyelids, and eyebrows are becoming more distinct, and she's even developing tiny tooth buds beneath her gums. Her eyes have formed, but her irises (the colored part of the eye) still lack pigment. If you could see inside your womb, you'd be able to spot the fine hair (lanugo) that covers her body and the deep wrinkles on her skin, which she'll sport until he adds a padding of fat to fill them in. Inside her belly, her pancreas — essential for the production of some important hormones — is developing steadily.

Have fun and be safe. See the "three" of you in a few weeks in CA.
